How to Make a Cup of Useful Coffee

To drink or not to drink? These disputes have always been around such a popular drink in the world like coffee. Why are opinions so different? Because coffee doesn’t belong to dietary products and influences on the people’s health in different ways.

However, this doesn’t mean that coffee is a dangerous product. Moreover, coffee has a pleasant taste and useful properties as well. The results of recent studies have explained the phenomenon of why people feel more cheerful after a cup of coffee. It turns out that roasted coffee beans contain powerful antioxidants, i.e. substances that protect cells from damage, and the body from aging. That’s why people feel the tonic effect of this drink. But, of course, the fact is that coffee is only useful in small quantities (1-2 cups a day). It’s not for nothing that the people who have preserved the ancient culture of drinking this drink use special dishes such as small cups.

What features of coffee make it harmful? Digestion of coffee in the stomach requires a lot of gastric juice which is released in the first 15-20 minutes after its use. And therefore people who have gastritis or stomach ulcers had better not consume it. The content of caffeine makes it dangerous for people with cardiovascular diseases if they consume it in large quantities.

What should coffee lovers do not to have undesirable consequences? The way out is to prepare a coffee using an individual recipe. Then it will be tasty, original, and useful.

Nature has given us a huge variety of products. Sometimes their combination can strengthen or, on the contrary, reduce effects on the body. For example, if you add honey to a very hot tea, it will lose its useful properties. And if you add some spices to coffee, they neutralize its negative effect on the body.

Cardamom

Cardamom will not only add a piquant flavor to the coffee but will also give a mild soothing effect and will strengthen the stomach. It’s better to add fresh cardamom (in powder) or in the form of boxes in your coffee.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon gives coffee a pleasant sweet taste and has a huge positive impact on health. It lowers blood glucose and reduces the “acidifying” effect of coffee. Cinnamon can be added during preparation with a whole stick or sprinkle ready-made coffee with ground cinnamon.

Black pepper

Pepper has the ability to purify the digestive system, stimulates metabolic processes, promotes better functioning of the stomach and the elimination of toxins. Add 2-3 peas in freshly brewed coffee.

Cloves

Cloves stimulate blood flow and lower blood pressure. Add 1 clove piece to your coffee and let it brew. Cloves contain essential oils that will fill the drink with aroma and reduce its harm to the body.

Ginger

Ginger has soothing properties, relieves spasms and pain symptoms, it is used as a stimulant of the digestive system. It’s enough to add to the coffee a small fresh piece of it or a little bit of its powder.

Coffee with milk

Add a little skim milk to the coffee. It’s an excellent way for those who follow the calories and at the same time can’t drink pure strong coffee.

Coffee with coconut cream and stevia syrup

Unlike ordinary cream, coconut does not contain lactose and hydrogenated fats, but at the same time not less tasty. Stevia syrup is an excellent natural substitute for sugar.

Coffee with cane sugar and whipped cream (or cocoa powder)

This drink is for those who can’t drink regular coffee, but at the same time prefers natural supplements. Cook the espresso, for example, whip the cream and add a spoonful of brown cane sugar. Those who love chocolate can replace the whipped cream with a spoonful of cocoa powder.

Experiment with different spices. This positively affects the body and also gives a special piquancy to the usual brewing ritual of coffee. Bon appetite!
